Celebrity Cruise: A Guide To Dining
CELEBRITY CRUISE

When you’re at sea on a Celebrity Cruise, how do you navigate the dining options? There are a fair amount of dining options that are not included within the cruise fare, and a fair amount that are, so how do you distinguish them? These are nicer end sit down restaurants, gelato shops, seafood places, and types of room service that are an upcharge. In addition to that, if you book a concierge room, you have access to complimentary exclusive dining options only available to guests of your room category.
Since it can get confusing what places are included and not included on a Celebrity cruise, here is a brief overview of the dining options included in your cruise. An important thing to note is that beyond water throughout the ship (and the juices and coffee available at Oceanview Café), the rest of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are an upcharge. There are beverage packages that you can purchase before or during the cruise that include certain drinks, so if you’re interested in learning more about that, reach out to me. Oceanview Café is the first included dining location on the Celebrity cruise. It’s a buffet that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are lots of food stations here, and on the particular ship I traveled on (the Celebrity Reflection) there was a complimentary ice cream station and a coffee bar (for an additional charge).
The next included dining location is main dining. Before you book your vacation, you can choose your dining time for dinner—something I can help you when you book your vacation through me—and this will provide you with a designated dining room, table, and dining time. The main dining room is open for breakfast and dinner and while there are a few items on the menu that are an upcharge, these are clearly marked.
The Mast Grill on deck is also included in your cruise fare! This location is on deck near the pool and serves up tasty hamburgers and French fries. Another included location to get food is Café al Bacio. This is near the main level lobby and serves sweets and a few savory snacks.
Additionally, the Spa Café serves breakfast options that accommodate to gluten free and vegetarian sailors.
